pretty sure the hole needs too be in the same place but one on each side one further would suck air in when the juice was low :o

You can put as many holes as you like in the bottom of the carto I still don't think the liquid will feed up the wadding enough to keep the 2nd coil properly fed, as I mentioned, the wadding isn't absorbent enough to suck the liquid up even if you took a drag now and left it 2 days before your next drag. In my experience, if you don't top the carto up (either manually or by using a 2nd hole at the top) then the top coil is definitely going to burn more easily than the bottom coil.

My holes are in line with each other so I tend to make sure that I hold the DCT in the right position so that even when the liquid level is low the top hole still gets some liquid, once it's really low obviously that can't really happen (unless you are lying down to vape maybe ;)) but as I said, hasn't caused me any problems so far and my last carto did 80 odd mls of liquid with holes top and bottom.

You would have to keep the tank topped up to at least the level of the higher hole, so you would not achieve a great deal as you would still have to top up either the tank or the  cartomizer.

I am currently trying a DCT cartomizer with a second hole directly opposite, and this seems to be working well for me after 12mls of eliquid, no dry spots at all  looks like it could be a winner to me :)

Hi pob,

It may not be necessary, everyone is individual and for me I found just the one hole worked 90% of the time for me, on the odd occasion I felt it gave a "dry" vape, I just took a draw on the DCT  without pressing the power button to encourage the eliquid to wick into the cartomizer and then everything worked okay again :)

Lol pob, you will certainly notice a difference in battery charge life between the 510 battery and a Mega Tornado passthrough battery. And  with the passthrough you can use it while it's charging  :D

1000ma Passthrough is the beez knees
So glad I got one - just a brilliant piece of kit

I was used to using an automatic battery which wouldn't last more than a couple of vape sessions before the performance would start to drop off noticably
I now just take the one battery and it lasts me all day at work (where I can sink 3ml with ease) and I wont have seen the button change colour by hometime

weekend (and the bank holidays) I have of course run a lot more juice through the battery
I saw the light turn blue mid afternoon for the first time - I didnt notice any performance drop off but hooked myself up to USB and have carried on without a drama or having to put it down
(the lead that comes with it is a good length and I havent got tangled with it or found a position it wont reach on my desk)

I know its going to be ready for me at work tomorrow and will easily make it through the day - no matter how hard I try

A very wise purchase

Regards
Rob

I'm sure you will fall in love with it same as I have
Mine has lasted all day so far (put roughly 4ml through the eGo-C between 7:30am and 6pm)
Its STILL showing me a white LED - so not even half way depleted!

Regards
Rob
