Replacement carts for microlite?
« on: January 18, 2012, 02:39:37 PM »
Good evening folks!!
Please forgive ANOTHER question about cartomisers but no-one seems to have asked this one yet. I am entirely new to vaping having just got my TECC Microlite on saturday. Trouble is; I REALLY hate the flavour of juice in the supplied cartomisers. I've tried to wash out the carts ready for refilling but can't get rid of the stench! My plan is to buy new carts but have no idea which ones will fit the thread (510?) or be compatible with the weedy 90 mAh battery. Which resistance should I go with? I'm assuming low resistance (1.5-2.0 ohms?). Any clue which carts would work? Any help would be massively appreciated. Many thanks.

Hiya Stan690, welcome to the forum. I don't know what connection is on the Microlite, but I wouldn't advise using low resistance cartos on those batteries, they are way too underpowered. LR atties and cartos should only be used on batteries larger than 450mah, the extra power drain can damage smaller batteries.

Hey guys just to fill you all in.

TW will be carrying empty Microlite cartomisers shortly.
Don't know the exact date but they have been on order.

Just a heads up.  ;)

Nah the super wont fit. Neither will the 510.

It's not hard to refill the Microlite Cartos Stan....  just pop the white cap off ... pull up the silicone seal and drip in some drops of eliquid..... surprisingly it's not a bad atomiser when you ditch the Ramen noodle flavoring and put something good in there.

I'm sure new carto stock should show up soon. Think unfilled cartos will be available soon as well.

Well I'm partially right.
Just checked. A 510 atomiser will fit and work but will only catch 1 or two threads. It will work but your really risking damaging the threads.

The center pole in the Microlites atty is slightly recessed. So a Microlite atomiser will not work at all on a 510 battery.

I don't even bother doing that.  I just dunk em in a condom mouth end first, cap still left on. If the battery end bubbles up I stop and leave t to rest on tissue battery end down.  15 mins later I clean em, blow em out and file them away.  No juice in the mouth at all.  Hey it even easier than dripping doing it this way,  must be the easiest carts to refil so far.

Yeah I have one ...... I can kill the battery in 15 minutes ..... LOL ........ it takes 2 hours to charge.

Seems best suited for a light smoker who wants an ecig that looks and feels the same as an analog. I think the Titan PCC kit is a better setup though.

I just double checked mine and timed a flat battery to fully charged...
59 mins exactly which is about the same as when I first got it two weeks ago.

I am counting how many puffs I get out of a fully charged battery,  I think it is going to be about 100 @ 4 second draws but I might be way off, we will see.

I am thinking it could be good for the wife.
She doesn’t like it that an assembled Titan will not fit in the PCC so when she pops it in her handbag she still has an e-cig somewhere in the bottomless pit.
No use to me as I easily get through an 18650 battery & 6ml DCT a day.

80 puffs out of one battery is what I just got.  Lasted me three and a half hours.  I did go shopping in the middle of it though and i do not vape and shop so I guess two and a half hours is closer for me.

I used to smoke 30 a day if thats any use to anyone.  Now I am on 18mg tobbaco 80/20 pg/ag at about 2.5ml a day or so.
