How long does a cartomizer last?
« on: September 25, 2013, 06:29:05 AM »
So I'm sitting here waiting for a delivery of eliquid and looking at my empty tank. I know, poor planning, but I went through the juice quicker than I thought cos I love it so much (caramel mocha is my current favourite).

How long does a single coil cartomizer last in a tank with no liquid in it? Surely the wooly stuff inside is still saturated with the stuff, so how many puffs are left?

Also, can I use the same cartomizer with a different / similar flavour?

You may of guessed I'm still in my first month of vaping, so go easy on me😳😬

Oh dear, sorry to hear that, hope you get your delivery today! (spares and spares of spares of everything are needed)  ;)

I don't use the coil ones so don't know, I hope someone comes along soon to help you!  :)

I'm sure you can use it with a change of flavour,  mine takes roughly 10/15 toots to get the last flavour out but is still usable.

Spent on vaping 868.74 plus X amount for presents

The wadding inside the carto will still have some liquid in there,
but it would be anybodys guess how many draws you could get
out of it, it depends on how thick the liquid is, exactly how much
is left in there, And the length of each draw that you take.
So yes you can do it, but its just knowing when to stop, and if you
don't stop in time, then you will end up burning the wadding as it
dries out.

Depending on your previous flavour the new flavour will come through
after a while, unless it was a very strong first flavour which can linger
for absolutely ages.

Hope this helps a little :)

Thanks ladies  ;)

Postie was late, typical when waiting for a VIP delivery.

I vaped as much as I dared. Then primed with new flavour and tested, after 3 drags old flavour had gone and new one was coming through, filled tank and Happy Days ;D This was going from Dr Pepper to Lemon Meringue, which is gorgeous and one of my favourite deserts  8)

Thanks again and happy vaping  :D

PS I now have 50ml of juice in 3 different flavours so I should be good for a while  ???
