E-Vic review
« on: February 09, 2013, 12:05:35 PM »
Just to get the ball rolling on this, I have had the E-vic since the day after Christmas and I just have to say that it is Amazing.

The device comes with a 2600 mah 18650 battery.  This battery lasts me two days when vaping 300+ puffs a day at 7.6watts. (joyetech just came out with a 3400 mah battery, tempted to get this)

What really stands out with this device is that it pretty much has a mini computer, you can set your personal info in it, time and date, records how many puffs you do, what ohms, Voltage, wattage used. all this info can then be uploaded to your computer.
While this info is not NEEDED I love it just because... I like seeing how much I used it so far today, or since I bought it (10820 puffs puffed so far)

This device is a VV/VW, with VW being what I prefer because if I change atties from a 4 ohm one to a 1.8 ohm one I don't need to worry about knocking down the voltage, the device automatically knocks it down so I am still vaping at my 7.6 watt level

The software is upgradable, currently at 1.2, which was a nice upgrade because it gives you an option as to what is displayed on the main screen, I just updated it today so have not dived into all the changes yet,  This is the only e-cig I know that you can update the device

Only a few down sides that I can see people having is:

Heavy and bulky,  But this is True with all 18650 devices

Text on screen is smaller than most, which I don't mind personally, I can see it perfectly well and they put more info on the screen than just the Voltage/wattage setting that other devices do

button is on opposite side of screen instead of under the screen.  Again I don't mind, but can see that it may throw some people off if they are used to the button being below screen.

Nice review Zormico, thanks.

May have to look into one of those. Recently got a VariVolt as an intro to VV, but not stepped up the voltage very high just yet.

I'm confused, is the eVic a TW branded product? This thread is under TW Products. I can't find it on the US site.

I like the look of the black casing. will TW be stocking these?
Also I wish they would do a official 18350 casing as it would be perfect for out and about vaping 8)

Ya, 18350 case would be sweet, have tons of those batteries around too!

Still loving the device, at 24,280 total puffs!

There is a tube for the eGo-T mod that accommodates the 18350 batteries and it fits the eVic according to many.

I do everything with my iPhone. Odyssey all day baby ;D

I have a question.  When you remove the battery, does the time and date get all erased or does it hold on to the information?
