I Agree with Kenneth...
These Plastic manufacturers have enough Polymer combinations to make an infinite array of different plastic compounds.
When they break plastics down, I believe that they use Solvents (Which I think Alcohol falls into that catergory) but they use different solvents for different plastics in order to find the ones that react?
So I would think without knowing from the manufacturers of our Tanks/carts, exactly what they use.. it would be very hard to say for sure whether alcohol would be an issue?
I think that's right anyway but I'm hardly an expert, I should really look it up at some point!
Though Darth did say that he HAD spotted clear reactions taking place, so I think that alone would be enough for me to give the whole Vodka thing a miss!
Still.as far as Leaching Carcinogens go.. I'm with Stevie.. 'You pays your money and you takes your Choc ice' (as we say over here) there's probably as many in your slightly over done peice of Toast too!?
I'm just glad it's one thing I don't have to worry about!
