E-liquid color change help!
« on: April 08, 2013, 12:19:17 AM »
Hi I'm using menthol 18 mg, the juice is clear but when it's on my nova and after a few drags and a while sitting in the tank, it turns into this caramel darkish color is that normal? Thanks in advance!

the coil is most likely dirty and the crud thats caked on there bleeds into the liquid

I see the same thing.
Its just the crud getting flushed out of the atty by the liquid, mine will change colour without even putting any heat through the atty.
It looks a bit grim but I've not noticed any changes in flavour or anything.

I've noticed this too. It happened a lot as the atty got older.

What's the trick to this? Clean the atty more often earlier on?

I found it more simple with the tank system but with the nova it's too easy to just top up... and to clean involves washing and let dry, dry burn and get going again.

I let an atty go and replaced it and I'm not getting this just yet

Maybe I'm just expecting them to last forever (or just longer than they do)
